of soccer, milubing and life

u noe, since now im like crazy over MiLuBing, i shall try to explore the reason why ppl go crazy over such a ting. i am no psychologist nor some learned person. im jus giving my two cents worth.

with the world cup fever (for the world) and the superband (for me n wl and like 6% of sporeans) ard, u have fanatic ppl all ard u. suddenly, almost everyone have got a common topic, be it soccer or superband or the increase in taxi fares. whatever it is, as i look ard, strangers can jus carry a conversation with each other becos "tings" are happening.

im not crazy over soccer. i admit. i watch it for the cute guys. wat else? i dun play or watch soccer enuf to appreciate a good pass and a fantastic pass. but lucky me, i can still sorta differentiate btw a good/fantastic pass from a lousy,sucky pass or shoot. Kaka is cute to me. C.Ronaldo is too. Zidane may be old but hey, i tink he's a legend somehow. when the ball leaves his foot, there is always someone at the receiving end. i conclude he mus be good, cos more often than not, some other ppl jus kick the ball and the ball flew to dunno where, or got intercepted by the opponent. zidane is old too, judging by the standard. tink he is past his prime. but he is still the captain of France and according to rather reliable sources, he's got the experience n the class, never mind bout the lack of speed compared to the younger 'uns. let the young ones run and pass him the ball. he will jus feed to whoever is at the best position to try for a goal. i tink he is in a league of his own. i tink players like him are a totally seperate class altogether. and according to my sources again, nope, he dun really play dirty, unlike the portugese, but tats subjective. i wont comment cos i noe nuts. but some of the "cries" and "falls" looked abit suspicious to me too. there are the good players and there are the good players who will jus go down in history. like zidane.
i duno any others liao. oh wait! i noe maradona! but well, he is famous for another reason but tats another story. im supporting france now tat brasil is out. sigh. tat was a fantastic match. i didnt feel sleepy at all! i was rooting for both teams and it was a great match. 2 world class teams. but u noe, there can only be one winner. Vhy?! Vhy cant all be winners? but tinking bout it, i tink all are winners. to be able to represent ur country and play at the world cup already puts u up THERE. u r carrying the nation's hopes and dreams on ur shoulders. u have ur countrymen watching and supporting u all the way.

its kinda amazing, events such as tis. everyone are strangers, bonded by a ball, a soccer pitch and 22 plyers.oh ya, and the refs. they better not be kayu. the entire world, mayb universe is watching. when a goal is scored, everyone cheers ard u and suddenly, u jus knew, that no matter if u r strangers or frens, the link btw u all is tat goal scored by ur countrymen/supporting team. i tink everyone starts off the same way in some point of their life, and the cycle jus repeats itself. like a lost sch kid in the 1st day of sch, we all needed to belong. for tis world cup, i belonged to the french crowd. i cheered when they win and i felt wasted when a scoring chance is lost. i was at Cuppage food center the other day, for the Germany vs Argentina match. i decided to affiliate myself with germany and suddenly, me and XinQuan (germany supporter) bonded like best frens for that 2hrs. it was just amazing how such tings can allow 2 frens be best frens, even for a while. it was fantastic, when germany scored, the entire food center cheered. i looked ard me and there were smiling faces all ard. i grinned at the ppl at the next table and they grinned back. in the sea of unfamiliar faces, our hearts were united and it was such a sensational feeling. no wonder ppl like to watch soccer with a big bunch of ppl.

i was at the superband recording for the revival. i belonged to the MiLuBing congregation. i didnt noe anyone else there, besides WL and 2 new "frens", AL (sam's sis) and Ag(their fren). but when they sung finish, everyone ard me cheered. i even had a 5 min conv with the guy i didnt even noe his name! we were like kindred spirits for tat 5 mins.

isnt life amazing? we are constantly having "Moments", whether u r aware or not. "Moments" to me is smt like an event or smt tat made an impact on ur life, small dent or big. it doesnt need to be tings tat happen to u tat u will repeat to ur grandkids for yrs to come, but jus events tat u grow up with, memories that u have.

we are constantly living LIFE, learning and growing every single day. we learn tings everyday, either facts bout the world, tings bout ppl ard u or smt new bout urself. who says when one is coop up at home, he/she is not learning. granted, it may not be the best use of time, but in the silence and comfort of home, we may learn smt we never noe bout urselves.

LIFE is a journey to be embarked, not a plan to be followed.

granted, no one can or shd live life without a plan, but no one shd live life jus to follow a plan. learn to be a bit more spontaneous. we live life only once. consider doing tings as and when we tink of it (of cos, not stupid tings. duh.). love everyone ard u. let them noe u love them. appreciate ur time on earth, becos, seriously, u never noe when it will end. do u wanna live life with regrets? nope, not me! i noe, i shd study hard now so as not to regret later. its kinda hard. im still trying to study when i need, not to procrastinate and flunk.

ask urself, wats the purpose of u being here? on earth i mean. i dont noe mine too, but im still finding. i always say i dun wanna grow old. i wanna stay young forever. but sometimes, jus sometimes, i cant wait to grow old and see wat life has got in store for me. will i be a teacher as i would want to be now? or wat? what job would i have in the future? will i get THAT RED BEETLE i want? or will i like other cars? will i have tat happy family? life can only be understood backwards, but it mus be lived forward. how true. we more or less tend to regret tings, tings we SHD HAVE done, stuff we SHD HAVE said.

the world is evolving every minute, every second. make the most of it. but do not forget to allocate some ME time. i believe everyone needs to have some time to himself. i tink i may have the makings of a recluse. heh. im perfectly fine spending time with myself, in my own company. i tink, seriously, i make quite good company. really lor. i tink im more than jus jokes and lameness but hey, wat better to get some light-hearted conv? i tink im capable of more intelligent conv. jus try me. and maybe gimme some space to make some mistakes and learn and grow. heh.

but again, Intelligence is quite subjective. but tat will be a topic for another day.
now, i hear my stomach growling.
where is wen?! im hungry.
