NATIONAL DAY = MUMMY'S BDAE!

HAppy National day! oh ya! did i forget to say tat today is my mum's bdae?! heh.. yup its true! So.. happy birthday MUMMY! ok.. let's begin... today is national day.. so, i decided to be patriotic and do something to show tat, Yes, im a Singaporean, and a proud one too! so.. i wore Stars earrings, red colour of cos..My adidas Red and white sneakers, white shirt and red jacket! and oh ya! i used red color rubberband to tie my hair! but sadly, i couldnt find any crescent moon to go along.. so when i wallked ard telling ppl to notice this and tat, i told them, well... i didnt have a crescent moon and no... im not representing Indonesia.. heh.. some ppl ah.. they jus dun understand...
my 1st national day, away from home... dunno y, i feel sad... well... im not super patriotic, but still, its something new.. and i jus felt homesick... normally we will celebrate together in some beach or something.. n jus spend time with family.. and ya.. watch the NDP... Frankly speaking, i enjoy the NDP.. its v nice to watch the march past esp... well.. i would like to think this is the time when the entire nation come together for a common celebration... and the march past.. there is something therapeutic watching it..makes me feel protected and safe.... no matter if its jus for show..
Then cos the SSS (Singapore Student's Society) organised some NDP live telecast at a sch pub, The Tavarn, i happily anticipated the event and went to the Tav with Marcus and Gab.. but well.. after waiting for like an hr, they gave up trying to show the NDP, cos the connection was jus so bad.. the picture jus kept hanging.. and i left the Tav with disappointment in me.. Apparantly according to Darren, the connection was jus as bad in his house... some prob with the satellite or something... well... im still sad.. hai... but well... i tried...
